Francisco Temprano
My name is Francisco Temprano and I am Spanish. I studied Spanish philology at the La Coruña University, where I also worked as a university and high school teacher. Since 2005 I have lived in the Czech Republic and I have concentrated on teaching Spanish to foreigners. Apart from others, I have also worked for the Instituto Cervantes in Prague as a tutor, lecturer and member of the official exam committee and as an educational plan creator I have been living in Kutná Hora since 2010, where I teach at a Grammar school.
I enjoy my work very much and I like to follow the newest teaching methods. That is why I like teaching via Skype, which is ideal for interaction and above all, thanks to the internet possibilities, it enables a direct contact with the given culture. The major factor for motivation is to teach a language through its culture so that a student feels the urge to integrate among people speaking the foreign language; in other words, using language not only as a communication tool, but also as a means to recognition of another culture and another world perspective that may enrich a human being.
